West Barks Pet Services
About Me
About Me
They always say to do what you love and that's exactly what I have done with West Barks Pet Services!
I have always loved the company of animals and decided very early on I wanted my career to be based around animal care of some sort.
I attended Berkshire College of Agriculture (BCA) to study for a National Diploma in Equine Studies for 2 years, after which I decided to study a further 2 years to gain my 'Foundation Degree in Equine Studies with Management'.
At the age of 21 I started work as an equine groom on a private estate in Surrey and stayed there for 3 years until I went on maternity leave and made the choice to leave and focus on my children; during this time I decided to use my experience and knowledge to create and develop my own business and here I am today!
Throughout the years I have owned and cared for a variety of cats, dogs, horses, rabbits, gerbils, rats, hamsters, chickens, kittens, fish, chamelions and goodness knows what else!
I absolutely adore animals and couldn't be more in love with what I do!
